Community Involvement
Giving back to the community is a core value at United Scrap Metal as we continue to allocate our resources in helping others.
Our entire team shares this passion while dedicating their time to non-profits throughout the region. We encourage our team members to serve on boards and committees that facilitate our vision of giving back. We are united in assisting with both financial and human capital.
Our longstanding partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI) is an example of our commitment to the community. This formal relationship develops greater environmental awareness by educating community members on the importance of recycling; while concurrently generating funds to provide a “home away from home” for families of hospitalized children. Through this unique partnership, we spearhead various programs that benefit the charity.
